Recently discovered c19th photographs of the estate show a number of familiar structures in unfamiliar surroundings. The Mansion House seen from the far side of the lake shows a vista devoid of trees while the Temple of Harmony, once shrouded in "Little Wood" now sits in an open aspect with only passing cows for company.
